K.d. Lang described herself as the "non-lipstick lesbian," yet she teamed up with MAC to create a lipstick for the Viva Glam campaign. Featuring an openly queer woman in a mainstream makeup campaign was another major step in the right direction for MAC, and the beauty industry.
